Paragraph Use this style for first line indented paragraphs. If you do not have any symbols, abbreviations, or specific nomenclature in your thesis, you do not need to fill out this page. The dedication page is an optional part of the front matter. Many of templwte automated features in Word require that you use styles. FGS no longer accepts paper submissions. Once upon a time, theses were typed on a typewriter and submitted to the examination committee in hardcopy.
